Are you a PO?

This page is for you. We welcome you. We value the role you play in acclimation, safety, and recovery. This page will provide you information regarding the great lengths we go to ensuring our retreats are safe for both our attendees and the general public.

While we welcome sex offenders and those on the sex offender registry to attend our retreats, it is based on certain conditions. 1) Your approval. We 100% acknowledge your authority to decide whether or not a parolee or individual on probation can attend our retreat events. 2) The parolee's supervisor/sponsor must attend with them. 3) Our attendees must be actively involved in a 12 step program.

2

Carefully planned activities. We specifically choose activities away from the general public that are remote and isolated. This is best for all involved. Less triggers and more time for contemplation for our attendees, and more peace of mind for the community and you!  Our housing situations are carefully chosen. Every attendee always has their own bed.

3

We have organizers on the sex offender registry who analyze all our activities for "safety" and compliance. None of our attendees want any trouble or complications to their situations. We completely avoid locations of any question including schools, parks with playgrounds, crowded areas, public restrooms, etc. Please work with us.

Our goal is to help men acclimate to life outside of prison, and learn healthy coping behaviors through healthy connection, working the 12 steps, and enjoyable outdoor activities. We never exceed more than 20% of our retreat attendees who are SOs. Our emphasis is on helping men avoid future criminal behaviors by learning health coping mechanisms (exercise, mediation, prayer, connection to support, therapy, and the 12 steps).
